De op 10 februari 1963 geboren Hans Snoek groeit op in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Hans is al heel lang met muziek bezig. Na vele jaren in de bouw als stukadoor te hebben gewerkt besluit Hans, die de hele dag door zingt, om zanglessen te nemen als hij zijn “spaan“ aan de wilgen hangt en inruilt voor een microfoon.
